End of Summer Free Writing Session

Some of the best writing conveys a strong sense of time and place.  In this workshop, we’ll start some written responses to summer and to Somerville using prompts we create and engage in several rounds of spontaneous writing and sharing out.  Free writes are a great way to overcome writers’ block, to explore new concepts for every kind of writing project, and to get to know fellow writers and build community.  This end of summer workshop in the park will be casual and fun (no experience and equipment needed) and will be in close proximity to the beer garden if you want to grab a drink and cool down.  Bring a pen, a notebook and a friend and join us for an evening of writing al fresco!
