Peabody, MA
Following our CultureHouse Peabody pop-up, local creative studio and workshop space Create & Escape was inspired to start new non-profit arm that incorporated some of the lessons learned from the project. We consulted with Create & Escape to create a strategic plan for a long-term public community space in Downtown Peabody. Using the lessons from CultureHouse Peabody and our expertise in scoping, designing, and opening community spaces, we worked closely with Create & Escape to form a vision, narrative, and communication materials for the project.
The proposal
In order to assist in getting their new venture off the ground, CultureHouse worked with Create & Escape to help develop the vision for their new community space, The Local. We created renders for the design of the space, sample programming schedules, budget and finance structures, community engagement strategies, and advertising and promotional materials. We combined the final materials into an attractive document that Create & Escape can share with funders and community partners to garner support in bringing their project to life.
